Christ Institute of Management (CIM) was established during the year 2010 to provide a new platform to young management aspirants by starting Full time MBA approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University(GTU), Ahmedabad. Christ Institute of Management derives its distinct character from the state-of-the-art infrastructure, technology-aided teaching-learning process and countless student development programmes and skill enhancement programmes and not less than 15 on-site lecture sessions every year. Well-qualified and experienced faculty members work towards the multi-dimensional advancement of the students, expose the students to the latest global developments in the salient academic arenas.

Christ Institute of Management is one of the institutions in Christ Campus which caters the holistic educational need of around 3000 students from various states of the country. Christ Institute of Management believes in skill based observational and experiential learning process.

MOTTO

The motto means "the lamp of knowledge is lit". True knowledge dispels ignorance and liberates the seeker. Christ Institute stands as a source of knowledge to its students and it entrusts them the responsibility to share what they have received with the society and the world at large. Thus it aims at creating a better society in all respects.

INSTITUTE EMBLEM

The name of the institute and its motto are shown on the flying ribbons, which symbolize zeal for heights. At the center of the emblem is the lamp of knowledge that stands for Christ Institute of Management. It is placed in the midst of "Panch-tattva", namely earth, water, fire, air and sky.

The constellation of seven stars, called "saptarshi", stands for the enlightened and liberated Christites who would lead the nation to true freedom like the former directs the sailors to the pole star. There are seven lines each to the four directions. The number seven being a symbol of perfection indicates our tireless efforts for harmony with God, Humanity and Nature.

Groom the students management concepts and analytical tools and practical and adaptable functional and inter-functional/general management skills; Broaden the scope of applications of management; Promote the development of inter-personal, organizational and socio- economic sensitivity & responsibility in the potential managers; Develop their capability to continually respond to rapidly changing national and international business and economic environments and opportunities in a frame-work of professionally sound managerial values and attitudes; Make them understand political, socio-economic, ecological and technological environments of modern societies and their relevance to managerial functioning; Instill in the future managers a sense of life-long learning, participation, involvement and satisfaction as contributors to the wider developmental endeavour.
