“The BA in Eng. Lit. programme was a holistic one†Having grown up in Rajkot, I couldn't find a good Arts, majorly English, programme in Rajkot. I had to move to Ahmedabad to pursue HSC in Arts. Thankfully, I found my way back to Rajkot through Christ College (CC). The BA in Eng. Lit. programme was a holistic one, which also included Phonetics—the subject that led me to an MA in Linguistics from London. The best part of CC was our top-notch teachers and professors.
“crucial turning point in my life and career†Christ College, Rajkot, has definitely been a crucial turning point in my life and career. It houses as its faculty some of the best minds not only in Saurashtra but also Gujarat. Teamwork, leadership skills, public speaking, conflict-resolution, innovation, problem-solving skills, adeptness to cultural multifariousness, etc. are always a part and parcel of the goings-on of this campus. To any student in Saurashtra aspiring for higher education a class apart, there could be no better choice.
“Chance to develop my skills and learn new things†I pursued my Bachelor of Arts in English from Christ College, Rajkot. My college experience has been very good. I got an exposure to various activities and events that helped my personal growth. At college I also had the chance to develop my skills and learn new things. The faculties, as well as the environment of college is very student friendly and thus makes studying comfortable and fun.
The Christ Sail "There again is memory at my doorstep-" as the thoughts of the Christ Campus resurface in my mind. It is here that we sailed our boats, learning, un-learning, and re-learning not only the information about the world but also the concepts of understanding life. The panoramic voyage from classroom discussions to various club meetings, indoor ponderings to outdoor wanderings, following guidelines of the teachers to arranging events independently, aided us to know the tradition and develop the confidence to alter it with our individual talents.
