As per the Departmental Academic Planning, the department has organised SAFAL 2026 - A state level problem solving contest on March 23,2026 for Undergraduate/ Postgraduate/ Diploma Engineering Students and Apprentice. The competition was open for Chirst Campus students as well as other college oer University students and Apprentice of Gujarat State those who are preparing for various competitive examinations.

 

The event was conducted in two phases. In the first phase the event was inaugrated by the Chief Guest Mr. Udayan Lothiya, Lecturer in Kundaily college,Rajkot with his keynote address. Participants were also encouraged by the insightful words of Rev. Fr. Dr. Jomon Thommana Director of Chirst Campus . After the inaugral a  mock test of 1.15hrs was conducted in which 60 questions were asked in the form of multiple choice from comprising the topics of General Aptitudfe, Logical Reasoning, Communication Skills and General Awareness. Total 120 students have registered for the event out of which 95 students appeared for the examination.

 

In the second phase the following two expert sessions was conducted by the keynote speaker Dr. Nirav Bhatt,Centre Director, Chahal Academy, Rajkot.

 

Both sessions were highly informative and interactive. Students have gained a lot of information to above topics. At the end of the each session the experts gave satisfactory answers to the questions and queries raiesd by the participants.

 

In the valedictory function students were awarded with cash prizes and certificates by the Director. The vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms.Aditi.
